LKIDZ Director for Legacy Church, Grants Campus – Part-Time at 6 hours weekly

Primary Responsibilities

  • Excellent people skills.
  • Coordinate and run LKIDZ Children’s Services at our Grants Campus, distribute curriculum, and support volunteers during service times.
  • Train Next Step graduates to efficiently manage Grants LKIDZ services.

General Duties

  • Assist, coach, and welcome new volunteers with our Next Step Training Plan.
  • Manage policy and procedure forms of said volunteers.
  • Oversee the service schedule and preparation.
  • Prepare for service with tasks such as the transportation of USB download for LKIDZ Show, curriculum, crafts, first-timer bags, lesson supplies etc.
  • Manage the play area before service (30 minutes before) or when Central shuttles arrives.
  • Coordinate volunteers (check-in, bathroom assignments (females only), crowd control, etc.)
  • Perform service duties such as teaching, collecting tithes, and tracking attendance numbers.
  • Close the service by powering down all sound, light systems, TV, and securing all equipment for transportation back to Central.
  • Must be willing to travel on shuttle to and from Central.
  • Follow policies and procedures as defined in the Legacy Church Handbook.
  • Adhere to Our Core Values.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • Moderate physical activity required. Must be able to handle objects up to 25 pounds or stand and/or walk for more than six (4) hours per service day.
  • Work is typically performed during Legacy Church service hours (Sundays only).

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required.
  • Competent in computer use, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures, including filing and record keeping.
  • Basic knowledge of office management principles and practices.
