Central Campus Full Time Maintenance

Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain cleanliness and ensure the smooth operation of our facility. The role involves performing cleaning duties, managing supplies, setting up and tearing down and organizing

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning & Maintenance:
    • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing to maintain high cleanliness standards.
    • Ensure all rooms, event spaces, and common areas are cleaned and organized according to Legacy Church standards
    • Check stocking levels of consumables (e.g., cleaning supplies, paper products) and replace when necessary.
  • Set-up and organize
    • Break down areas and ensure cleanup is thorough, including removing furniture, cleaning floors, and removing trash.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, following Legacy Church practices to ensure a safe environment for all employees and guests.
    • Report any damages, hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Communication & Responsiveness:
    • Respond to phone calls, emails, and texts within 24 hours, providing timely and professional communication.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, or disturbances in the facility that require attention or repair.
  • Other Duties as assigned

General Duties:

  • Ensure all rooms, event spaces, and areas are cared for and inspected according to established standards
  • Follow the policies and procedures as defined in Legacy Church Handbook

Requirements:

  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (e.g., tables, chairs, and event equipment) up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
    • Comfort with frequent walking, lifting, and manual labor as part of setup, breakdown, and general maintenance.
    • Physical stamina to manage cleaning tasks and event preparations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or custodial services is preferred but not required.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
