ELEMENTARY RESOURCES

BrainPop is a group of educational websites with over 1,000 short animated movies for students in grades K-12. It includes quizzes and related materials, covering the subjects of science, social studies, english, math, engineering and technology, health, and arts and music. Click HERE to visit.

Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform, used as educational, interactive technology. Its learning games, "Kahoots", are multiple-choice quizzes that can be accessed via a web browser or the Kahoot app. There are many premade apps. Kahoot is accessible on the website covering a wide range of topics. (Think Jeopardy but for school!) Click HERE to visit. 

Education.com has a “Learning Library” which provides 100's of worksheets for grades Pre-K through 5th. You can sort and search the worksheet database by either grade level or subject and can even filter for specific themes (such as sports or holidays!). Khan Academy is currently providing daily learning schedules for students ages 4-18. These schedules are broken down by the hour, and provide clear tasks, links, and assignments for math, reading, grammar, writing, and science to keep students on track. Besides that, Khan Academy has a plethora of resources, including videos and games, explaining academic concepts. Click HERE to visit. 

Outschool will spark your child’s curiosity with access to 10,000 small group video chat classes—created and taught by inspiring teachers. Starfall provides free reading-based games with no advertisements on their page. On the Starfall website and in Starfall classrooms, children have fun while learning in an environment of collaboration, wonderment, and play. They teach through positive reinforcement to ensure children become confident, intrinsically motivated, and successful. Click HERE to visit. 

ABCMouse provides over 850 different lessons for students grades Pre-K through 2nd. The Step-by-Step Learning Path presents the full ABCmouse.com curriculum in a carefully designed program of more than 850 lessons in ten levels. Raz-Kids makes reading accessible (and fun) for students through games and books. There are 400+ ebooks and quizzes, spanning 29 different reading levels. PBS Kids is providing daily activities and tips to help learning from home. They have hundreds of kid friendly games, articles, and videos on a wide range of topics and PBS programming. Click HERE to visit. 

CoolMath.com has both lesson plans and games for math topics ranging from pre-algebra to calculus. Though there are a lot of non-academic games on this site, there are some good resources and games for those struggling to understand early high school math concepts. Click HERE to visit. 

National Geographic Kids provides educational games, quizzes, and videos in history and science. Students can explore different topics or use the daily “brain boosters”. Click HERE to visit. 

Kids Discover provides a cross-curricular experience through science, social studies, and ELA into one reading platform for students grades 3-8! There are several lessons and learning plans to choose from, depending on your students’ needs and grade level. Click HERE to visit.

FunBrain was created for kids in grades Pre-K through 8, Funbrain.com has been the leader in free educational games for kids since 1997. Funbrain offers hundreds of games, books, comics, and videos that develop skills in math, reading, problem-solving and literacy. Click HERE to visit.
